Jeff Hadley Sensei began his Martial Arts study in Judo at the Ohio Judo and Karate school while attending high school. He continued his martial arts training in Shito-ryu and Isshin-ryu Karate-do as well as Taekwon-do during and after college. Hadley Sensei is ranked Shodan in Shito-ryu and Isshin-ryu Karate-do. He started training at Cleveland Aikikai in 1989 and earned his shodan (first degree black belt) in 1994 awarded by Mitsugi Saotome Shihan. In 1998 he received his nidan (second degree black belt) in Aikido from Mitsugi Saotome Shihan. In 2002 Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan awarded him the rank of sandan (third degree black belt).
In addition to his teaching responsibilities at the Cleveland Aikikai, Hadley Sensei travels to intensive seminars around the United States and is responsible for managing the business affairs of Cleveland Aikikai.
